The Padded Freedom Sling - THE Sling for Breastfeeding Mums

                                                   The Padded Freedom Sling is the ideal sling for a mum who wants to breastfeed and carry their baby handsfree.  With eleven other children to look after I needed a carrier that was basically going to save my sanity and believe me this sling did! With this sling, due to the specially positioned padded side rails, I was able to comfortably and discreetly breastfeed Saoirse on the move. I regularly fed Saoirse whilst filling my shopping trolley in the local supermarket. I also needed a sling that was suitable for all the adults at home who wanted to use it to carry Saoirse i.e Mum, Dad and all her older brothers and sisters and this sling was perfect for that. Saoirse was a baby who wanted to be held all the time and would waken every time I tried to lie her down (I'm sure many of you know how that is and how exhausting it can be for everyone!), so I needed a sling that could help overcome that difficulty and also allow me the Freedom to do the other things that were also crying out for my attention. The sling allowed me to change Saoirse's  position from upright to feeding, from feeding to sleeping all with just a simple one finger adjustment and no need to remove the sling. And finally I could also use the sling to transfer her to a cot and with "mummy's smell" still on the sling and around her as a blanket she transfered easily to her cot without disturbing her. FREEDOM!!

I wore Saoirse in her sling from when she weighed just over 5lbs and during that time I also wore her sister Faith;  who was 3 1/2yrs; in a sling. The sling is just as comfortable to wear with a new born as it is with an older toddler. We have added a deep pocket in the tail of the sling which is useful for carrying a nappy, baby wipes, mobile phone or car keys etc.
